Job summary

Kidder Mathews is seeking a Regional Chief to support the SVP & Director of Engineering in managing the financial performance of the Engineering Department while ensuring high-quality maintenance across assigned properties.

The role partners with the Asset Services Team to pursue business development opportunities, act as a technical resource, and lead a team of Building Engineers and Maintenance Technicians to meet service requests and maintenance demands with professionalism.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in commercial building maintenance or related field.
• 10+ years operating relevant computer hardware/software (e.g. HVAC, security, MS Office, Work order system, smartphones).
• 3+ years in a direct supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Participate and support business development activities.
• Serve as a technical resource to the Engineering team.
• Lead and manage team of Building Engineers and Maintenance Technicians, including recruitment and supervision.
• Provide coaching and leadership to achieve portfolio, company and client results.
• Promote a positive working environment aligned with Kidder Mathews values.
• Conduct regular team meetings and safety trainings.
• Develop and implement the preventive maintenance program for the portfolio.
• Ensure inspections are completed on time and communicated to the Property Manager.
• Coordinate with contracted vendors to ensure quality and timely work.
• Respond to tenant service requests with professional customer service.
