Job summary

Blue Ridge Haulers is seeking Class A CDL drivers for Mid East regional routes. New CDL graduates are encouraged to apply. This role offers a structured trainer program, predictable lanes, company-maintained equipment, and weekly home time.

Typical weekly mileage is 1,800+ miles with mostly drop-and-hook operations. Trainee pay applies for 4–6 weeks, and benefits begin after 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Graduate of an accredited truck driving school (120+ hours).
• Clean driving record with no major incidents in 5 years.
• Pass pre-employment urine and hair drug screens and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 53' dry van trailers on regional routes.
• Perform drop-and-hook and occasional live load/unload; mostly no-touch.

Blue Ridge Haulers is seeking Class A CDL drivers for Mid East regional routes. New CDL graduates are encouraged to apply. This role offers a structured trainer program, predictable lanes, company-maintained equipment, and weekly home time.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate 53' dry van trailers on Mid East regional routes
• Perform drop-and-hook operations plus occasional live load/unload; primarily 100% no-touch freight
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections, report maintenance/safety issues promptly
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation per federal and company regulations
• Follow company safety policies and maintain professionalism with customers and team

Training, Schedule & Equipment

• OTR trainer program for 4-6 weeks for drivers with under 6 months experience; new grads eligible for trainee pay
• Mid East regional lanes with weekly home time; must be available for day or night shifts
• Typical weekly mileage: 1,800+ miles
• Company-maintained 53' dry van trailers, mostly drop-and-hook for predictable workflow

Pay and Benefits

• Weekly pay of $1,200 to $1,500, varies by miles and experience
• Per-mile pay of $0.56 to $0.64 based on experience
• Trainee pay of $850/week for 4-6 weeks
• $15 stop pay
• Monthly performance/safety bonus of $0.06/mile (eligibility criteria apply)
• Full benefits after 30 days: medical, dental, 401(k), and PTO

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 with a valid Class A CDL
• Graduate of an accredited truck driving school (120+ hours)
• Fairly clean driving record no major accidents, tickets, or suspensions in the past 5 years
• Not terminated from most recent job for safety reasons
• Solid work history with limited employment gaps over the past 10 years
• Must pass pre-employment urine and hair drug screens and required background checks
