Job summary

Blue Ridge Haulers is seeking a Regional CDL-A Driver. The role covers a fixed regional lane across California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington, with live/drop and hook freight and a mix of day and night dispatch.

A four-to-six week paid training period with an experienced trainer is provided, plus a guaranteed weekly trainee pay of $850. Recent CDL-A graduates are welcome; you’ll progress to solo pay as soon as ready, with a real guarantee pay of $1,000 per week for the first three

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of solo verifiable OTR experience in the last 12 months.
• Valid Class A CDL, clean driving history, no more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
• No DUI/DWI within the past 5–10 years, and none behind the wheel of a commercial vehicle ever.
• Must pass standard background checks and hair/urine drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate a fixed regional lane across CA, ID, NV, OR, UT, and WA.
• Home every two weeks with day and night dispatch; weekend work required.
• Live load/unload; 60% drop and hook; 4–6 week paid OTR training with trainer.

Pay and Scheduling Breakdown:

• Average weekly earnings of $1,200 to $1,500, with the top 25% of drivers pulling $1,800
• Steady weekly mileage of 1,900 to 2,300 miles, no guessing week to week
• $15.00 stop pay, short haul pay matched to OTR rates
• Home every two weeks, day and night dispatch available, weekend work required
• Reefer trailers running a defined regional lane across CA, ID, NV, OR, UT, and WA
• Live load, live unload, preload, and drop and hook freight, about 60% drop and hook
• Both day and night dispatch, weekend work required
• Holiday work is coordinated directly with your driver leader based on what the team needs
• No experience necessary, just a 120+ hour certificate from an approved school
• Paid OTR training program runs 4 to 6 weeks with an experienced trainer at your side
• $850 a week guaranteed while you train
• Moves you straight to full solo pay the moment you're ready to run on your own
