Job summary

Blue Ridge Haulers is seeking entry-level CDL A truck drivers for a dedicated regional account across California and neighboring states. You will train and progress to solo pay while handling refrigerated trailers and maintaining on-time delivery schedules.

We welcome new graduates with a 120+ hour CDL course and offer paid mentorship, guaranteed earnings in training, and solid benefits after 30 days, including health and retirement coverage.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old with a valid Class A CDL
• 6+ months OTR experience in the past year OR a recent grad (120+ hr school)
• Safe driving record: max 2 moving violations (2 yrs) and zero major crashes (5 yrs)
• Must pass hair/urine drug tests and standard background screening

Responsibilities

• Operate a dedicated regional account across California and neighboring western states in refrigerated units (reefer).
• Maintain safety and efficiency, complete logs and required paperwork, and adhere to schedule.

Job Type: Driving

Looking for a straight-shooting trucking job without the usual runaround? Join a dedicated regional account operating through California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington. We offer predictable miles, solid pay, and real transparency.

Key Financials & Schedule

Expected Income: $1,200 to $1,500 weekly average ($1,800/week for top-tier drivers)

3-Month Pay Floor: $1,000 minimum weekly guarantee during your first 90 days solo

Weekly Distance: 1,900 2,300 miles

Extra Pay: $15 per stop + enhanced short-haul compensation

Home Time Routine: 2 weeks out, then home

Work Hours: Day/Night dispatches; weekend coverage needed; holiday plans set with your supervisor

What Are You Hauling?

Equipment: Refrigerated units (Reefer)

Type of Stops: ~60% Drop & Hook (remaining is live load/unload and preloads)

Entry Requirement: Diploma/Certificate from a 120+ hour approved course

Paid Mentorship: $850 guaranteed weekly pay for 46 weeks with a senior driver

Immediate Upgrade: Jump straight to full solo pay as soon as you clear training

Who Qualifies?

Must be at least 21 years old with a Class A CDL

Either 6+ months OTR experience in the past year OR a recent grad (120+ hr school)

No DUI/DWI in the last 510 years (Lifetime ban for commercial motor vehicles)

Must pass hair/urine drug tests and standard background screening
