Job summary

Akumin Inc. in the United States seeks a dependable CDL Class A regional mobile trailer driver to support night-time OTR deliveries of medical imaging equipment.

You will run 1–2 trailers per night, set up and tear down equipment, and train during an initial 4–6 week onboarding to learn routes and safety procedures. Applicants need a clean DOT record, valid CDL-A, DOT medical certification, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and a proven ability to drive and park large tractor trailers on tight

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid CDL in the state of residence and DOT medical certification.
• Clean DOT driving record with no moving violations.
• Able to set up medical diagnostic equipment at delivery sites (training provided).
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Skilled at driving and parking large tractor trailers.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor trailers for mobile medical imaging equipment.
• Move trailers at night to locations with appointments.
• Drop off or pick up trailers at client sites.
• Set up medical equipment at destination.
• Transport 1–2 trailers per night.
• Complete 4–6 weeks of training on routes and setup.
