Job summary

Akumin Inc. is hiring a Regional Mobile Medical Trailer Truck Driver CDL - Full Time to operate CDL-A tractor trailers on Northeast routes, moving mobile MRI/CT units between hospitals and clinics.

The role requires safety, independent work, and the ability to set up equipment at sites; training lasts 4–6 weeks. Expect 8–12 hour shifts, some nights and weekends, and 1–2 weeks away from home; competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL-A) and DOT medical certification.
• Clean DOT driving record with no moving violations.
• Ability to set up medical equipment at delivery sites (training provided).
• Experience driving large tractor trailers and handling medical equipment shipments.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor trailers on regional/national mobile medical routes.
• Unload/set up medical equipment at delivery sites and tear down afterward.
• Perform safety checks and ensure proper trailer connections.
• Follow ICC/DOT regulations and maintain logs.
