Job summary

Akumin Inc. is seeking dependable CDL Class A truck drivers to transport mobile medical imaging equipment to hospitals and clinics. Night shifts require moving trailers, setting up and tearing down equipment, and delivering 1–2 trailers per night.

Training lasts 4–6 weeks; benefits include paid training, 401(k), health, dental, and vision insurance, and PTO. Candidates must have a clean DOT record and pass background and drug tests.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with DOT certification preferred.
• Clean driving record and capable of handling heavy tractor trailers.
• Experience with setting up medical equipment at delivery sites preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractors with automatic transmission to deliver mobile medical imaging equipment.
• Set up and tear down trailers and medical equipment at client sites (30–45 minutes).
• Ensure trailers are securely connected to tractors and safely transported.
• Comply with ICC and DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Report any mechanical or safety issues and perform QA checks if required.
