Job summary

Denver Public Schools seeks a regional mentor to support Career and College Success (CCS) for students who benefit from greater 1:1 guidance in our secondary schools. You will work with the Pathway Director, Counselors, and CTE/CC teachers to recruit students and facilitate the Coach mentoring curriculum, building ICAP progress and strengthening career planning.

The role emphasizes equity, collaboration, and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 1+ years of experience.
• Commitment to equity and dismantling inequity.
• Residence in Colorado at the time of employment.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the position.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and provide case management for mentor students, focusing on underrepresented populations.
• Coordinate Coach cohort logistics, materials, field trips, and mentor training.
• Facilitate alignment of Coach curriculum with CCS opportunities and family engagement.
• Advise on pathway integration and advanced career planning within school curriculums.
• Develop partnerships with community organizations and track attendance/data entry.
• Advocate for CCS programs to teachers, staff, students, families and partners.
