Job summary

Montgomery County Educational Service Center in Dayton, OH seeks a Career Navigator to lead regional Industry-Recognized Credential initiatives. You will coordinate IRC deliverables with CPSN-West, stay current on Ohio guidance, and work with LEAs/CTPDs to improve credential pathways for students with disabilities.

You will also analyze data, provide coaching, and facilitate regional trainings, webinars, and guides while maintaining accurate engagement records and reporting progress to DEW.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in education, CTE, special education, or workforce development preferred.
• Strong knowledge of career pathway systems and industry credentials.
• Ability to translate state guidance into practical district strategies.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate regional implementation of IRC deliverables across CPSN-West with network leadership.
• Maintain knowledge of Ohio IRC requirements and DEW guidance.
• Analyze credential data for students with disabilities and identify gaps.
• Provide outreach, coaching, and consultation to LEAs and CTPDs.
• Assist districts in redesigning credential pathways to improve access and completion.
• Plan quarterly regional convenings, professional development, and webinars for district leaders.
• Develop and distribute tools, guides, and best practices region-wide.
• Maintain records of district engagement and report progress to DEW.
