Job summary

Students 2 Science Inc. is seeking a CAP Coordinator to support the Director in developing and growing career exploration, workforce readiness, mentoring, internships, and postsecondary pathways for high school and college students.

The role bridges students, families, schools, mentors, employers, and higher education partners to ensure access to meaningful STEM experiences. You will coordinate internship recruitment, mentoring programs, events, and program operations to advance student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• 2+ years of experience in education, higher education, workforce development, youth development, program coordination, career services, internships, mentoring, or a related field.
• Experience coordinating programs, events, or initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, implementation, and evaluation of CAP activities.
• Support student recruitment, enrollment, participation tracking, and ongoing engagement.
• Guide students through career exploration, workforce readiness, internship preparation, and post-secondary planning.
• Maintain accurate student records, program data, reports, and outcome documentation.
• Coordinate communications with students, families, schools, and community partners.
• Recruit, screen, place, and monitor high school and college interns.
• Cultivate relationships with internship hosts, hiring managers, and employer partners.
• Coordinate internship orientations, sessions, worksite visits, and evaluations.
• Assist students in developing workplace readiness skills, including professional communication and networking.
• Maintain a database of internship sites and career opportunities.
• Represent S2S at community events, career fairs, and partner meetings.
