The role requires five years of claims experience with leadership ability; a CPCU/AIC/AIM designation or progress toward one is preferred. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of successful claims adjusting experience with strong organization, communication, negotiation, and decision‑making skills and thorough knowledge of claims procedures, policies, and coverages.
• Previous supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to lead others effectively.
• AIC, AIM, or CPCU designation—or active progress toward completion—preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads regional catastrophe claims operations for the Claims Department.
• Monitors loss severity and sets best‑practice strategies.
• Directs daily operations and personnel to deliver prompt, fair service in line with company guidelines and management objectives.
• Oversees vendor partnerships and the catastrophe claims budget.
• Stays current on industry trends, platforms, integrations, and improvement opportunities related to catastrophe claims.
