Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of full-time or equivalent paid experience in banking, business administration, industrial or labor relations, human resources, journalism or communications; demographics, economic, market or developmental research, or planning; in the ownership/operation of a business enterprise, or related work.
• Master's degree from an accredited college or university may substitute for the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Foster relationships with new and existing businesses in West Virginia within Region 6 (Barbour, Braxton, Doddridge, Gilmer, Harrison, Lewis, Marion, Monongalia, Preston, Randolph, Taylor, Tucker, Upshur).
• Identify employer needs and coordinate with WV local offices, Regional Workforce Development Boards, and partner agencies to provide WFWV services, tax credits, on-the-job training, and incentives.
• Organize and coordinate job fairs and WFWV events; prepare weekly/monthly reports; present ideas about WFWV services to groups; travel as required.
