Job summary

Ascension Recovery Services is seeking an Employment Coordinator – Workforce Development to build employer partnerships and connect individuals in our Return-to-Work (RTW) Program with meaningful employment and vocational training opportunities. This role is highly relationship-driven, requiring networking with employers, workforce organizations, and community partners across West Virginia.

You will guide participants through resumes, interviews, and onboarding while coordinating job matches

Qualifications

Natural connector and relationship builder with employers.
Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify practical solutions to employment barriers.
Willingness to travel up to 50% throughout West Virginia.

Responsibilities

Identify and build relationships with employers for the Return-to-Work program.
Develop partnerships with workforce development organizations, vocational training providers, community organizations, and other employment resources.
Conduct employer outreach, meetings, and site visits to understand workforce needs and identify opportunities.
Maintain a strong network of employer partners, current job openings, and training opportunities.
Identify competitive employment opportunities that align with participants' skills and needs.
Coordinate job matching and employer referrals with Return-to-Work Liaisons and participants.
