Job summary

Elwood Staffing is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to expand our client base with tailored solutions. You will travel 60-70% regionally, identify opportunities, present proposals, and partner with teams to deliver service excellence.

The ideal candidate has outside sales experience or a strong drive for new business, excellent communication, and a valid driver’s license for travel. Base pay with uncapped commissions and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Outside sales or new account development experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to communicate cross-functionally and resolve issues with urgency.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Valid driver’s license required for travel between branches and clients.

Responsibilities

Identify leads, qualify prospective business, create proposals, present to clients, and create new sustainable business partnerships.
Local travel 60-70% throughout the week - auto allowance provided.
Present customized solutions that address the prospective client’s business needs.
Drive negotiations, close, and onboard new accounts while coordinating with a service team.
