Job summary

CPP Inc. in Windsor, Colorado, is seeking a Business Development Regional Manager to identify and pursue new opportunities, write project proposals, and build strong client relationships for revenue growth.

This full-time role requires coordinating BD activities, CRM management, and travel up to 30-50%. The position offers exposure to landmark structures and projects, with a chance to advance alongside internal teams while contributing to strategic sales efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience in the built industry preferred.
• Previous proposal or technical writing experience required.
• Experience with CRM preferred.
• Knowledge of B2B sales, complex sales, and relationship marketing preferred.
• Understanding of architecture/engineering industries and services is preferred.
• 4-year degree or 7+ years experience with a mix of engineering and B2B sales.

Responsibilities

• Organization and preparation of proposals including writing, delivering and following up on project proposals
• Perform follow-up calls and ongoing status-update calls after proposal delivery
• Conduct research to identify new project opportunities and potential clients using proprietary database searches, Internet and public database searches, and historical information
• Conduct pre/post-conference meeting planning/follow-up
• Assist with defining and executing successful sales tactics
• Enter, track, and report information about business development activities
• Ability to sign off on outgoing proposals without direct Principal review under an approved cost threshold
• Ability to travel up to 30-50% of the time
• Create weekly meeting reports and serve as the leader for the weekly meetings
• Coordinate and schedule Business Development travel, post travel follow-up, Lunch and Learn or client education offerings, and client meetings
• Performing additional tasks as assigned
