Job summary

United Land Services is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead the sales process from start to finish and drive growth across our landscape services. You will build and maintain strong client relationships, develop new business opportunities, respond to bids, and collaborate with estimating and sales teams to grow the business.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of sales experience, a professional business acumen, and the ability to travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience required.
• Landscape industry knowledge preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Manages the sales process from start to finish.
• Builds, manages, and maintains a robust sales pipeline by developing long-term relationships with potential key clients.
• Creates proposals in response to bid requests.
• Proactively researches engagement opportunities with public meetings, trade shows and industry publications.
• Works with the estimation team to ensure bids are responded to accurately and timely.
• Develops marketing plans to ensure consistency across the organization.
• Keeps accurate notes on sales calls and meetings.
• Completes records and reports in a timely and accurate manner.
