Job summary

United Land Services is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead the full sales process, cultivate long-term relationships with key clients, and collaborate with estimating and sales teams on bids. You will drive marketing efforts, respond to inquiries, and represent ULS at industry events.

The role requires a background in sales with landscape knowledge, strong communication, and CRM skills, plus willingness to travel to client sites and work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years sales experience and 1-2 years of landscape industry knowledge.
• Valid driver's license required, as this role may involve driving between job sites.

Responsibilities

• Manages the sales process from start to finish.
• Builds, manages, and maintains a robust sales pipeline by developing long-term relationships with potential clients.
• Creates proposals in response to bid requests.
• Proactively researches engagement opportunities via public meetings, trade shows and industry publications for marketing exposure.
• Works with the estimation team to ensure new bids are responded to accurately and timely.
• Collaborates with sales peers to develop marketing plans and ensure consistent BD media.
• Keeps accurate and well-organized notes on sales calls and meetings, and completes required reports.
