Job summary

OrePac Building Products is seeking a Sales Manager in West Valley City, UT to lead a team of Account Executives and Territory Sales Representatives. You will drive revenue, manage staff, and oversee product category strategies across the region.

The role emphasizes field coaching (about 70%), strong leadership, and collaborative cross-functional efforts to achieve profitability and margin goals. Industry experience in building materials is preferred.

Qualifications

• Travel up to 70% of the time for regional sales activities.
• Experience leading teams and resolving personnel conflicts while driving goals.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills with the ability to coach staff.
• Excellent leadership, decision making and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing by interviewing, hiring, training and performance reviews.
• Lead safety culture and ensure OrePac safety program adherence.
• Execute annual sales strategy with a team of Account Executives and Reps; spend ~70% in the field.
• Maintain cadence of ride-alongs, develop pipelines, and forecast bookings and revenue.
• Oversee product category management, pricing, and new product implementation.
• Develop sales plans, promotions, and partnerships to hit targets.
