Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie Company Inc. is seeking a Regional Builder Manager to boost builder relationships, promote products, and expand software training within the Midwest territory. The role requires travel, training, and field support to grow builder partnerships.

You will mentor sales staff, coordinate builder workshops, and stay current with software and technology offerings while documenting activity in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 5 years in construction industry with product/services experience.
• Residential construction practices and distribution channels knowledge.
• 3 years of Simpson Strong-Tie product/solution knowledge.
• Sales and account management experience with growth track record.
• Strong presentation and communication abilities.
• Customer focus and relationship building.
• Accountability, dependability and adaptability in a fast-paced role.
• Proactive writing, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Familiarity with Simpson products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company within the builder community and construction industry, building strong relationships with builders, customers, contractors, and partners.
• Meet regularly with builder partners to understand needs, identify opportunities, and convey value of Simpson products and services.
• Monitor builder, market, industry, product, and technology trends to stay competitive.
• Coordinate builder workshops, training opportunities, and educational programs; document updates in Salesforce.
• Educate Territory Managers on builder software and technology offerings and train customers on available solutions.
• Travel up to 60% to visit job sites and support builder relationships.
