Shepeard Community Blood Center in Augusta, GA is seeking an experienced Regional Manager of Blood Operations to lead the Middle Georgia region's donor services and blood collection operations. The role supervises staff, ensures regulatory compliance with FDA and AABB, and drives donor retention and operational excellence.

This role requires travel across the region and a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of supervisory or management experience in healthcare, donor services, logistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy and CPR certifications required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel throughout Middle Georgia and the CSRA.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Must reside within one hour of the Dublin Donor Center.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily donor services and blood collection operations.
• Supervise, coach, and develop collection staff.
• Monitor collection goals, donor retention, and operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, AABB, and organizational standards.
• Support mobile blood drives and fixed-site operations as needed.
• Investigate operational issues and implement corrective actions.
• Foster a positive, donor-focused culture and exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with leadership and community partners to support blood collection goals.
