Job summary

Shepeard Community Blood Center in Georgia is seeking an experienced Regional Manager of Blood Operations to lead blood collection operations across the Middle Georgia region. You will oversee mobile drives, fixed-site collections, and donor services staff while ensuring regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and an outstanding donor experience.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience, 5+ years in phlebotomy, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license with travel

Qualifications

3-5 years of supervisory or management experience in healthcare, donor services, logistics, or a related field.
5+ years of phlebotomy experience.
Blood center or plasma center experience preferred.
Phlebotomy and CPR certifications required.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
Ability to travel throughout Middle Georgia and the CSRA.
Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Must reside within one hour of the Dublin Donor Center.

Responsibilities

Lead daily donor services and blood collection operations.
Supervise, coach, and develop collection staff.
Monitor collection goals, donor retention, and operational performance.
Ensure compliance with FDA, AABB, and organizational standards.
Support mobile blood drives and fixed-site operations as needed.
Investigate operational issues and implement corrective actions.
Foster a positive, donor-focused culture and exceptional customer service.
Collaborate with leadership and community partners to support blood collection goals.
