Job summary

NPK International inc. (NYSE: NPKI) is seeking a Regional Billing Supervisor to lead daily billing and invoicing across a designated region. You will coach billing personnel, manage a personal portfolio, and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with contracts and policies.

You will partner with Operations, Sales, Finance, and customers to resolve issues, monitor billing metrics, and support month-end close. Excellent communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of billing, invoicing, accounting, or related experience.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of supervisory or people management experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of billing processes, customer contracts, purchase orders, revenue recognition principles, and financial controls.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with ERP systems; Infor LN strongly preferred.
• Experience with document management systems and Adobe Acrobat preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach a billing team with training, feedback, and development.
• Oversee daily billing operations for timely, accurate invoicing.
• Maintain portfolio of customer accounts and billing activities.
• Review billing transactions for accuracy and contract/compliance.
• Monitor PO balances and coordinate with Operations/Sales to prevent delays.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries.
• Maintain documentation for billing, audit, and compliance.
• Collaborate with Operations, Project Management, Sales, and Finance to improve processes.
• Track billing metrics, aging, productivity, and cycle times.
• Assist with month-end/year-end close and reconciliations.
• Develop and enforce billing procedures and controls.
• Identify opportunities for automation and system enhancements.
• Support internal/external audits with records.
