Job summary

Columbia Distributing is seeking a District Manager to lead sales execution across assigned accounts and oversee the performance of Sales Representatives and Sales Associates. This role emphasizes achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives, while managing inventories and ensuring training aligns with company priorities.

The position requires strong communication, relationship-building, and analytical skills, with a background in beverage distribution and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required -- position is subject to Fleet Safety Policy.
• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years previous beverage industry sales experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years previous sales management experience.

Responsibilities

• Accomplish sales and distribution goals by executing monthly, quarterly and annual objectives.
• Manage inventory expenses in accordance with company policy.
• Educate and train employees to ensure execution of goals and priorities.
• Interact with inter-company departments, suppliers and customers respectfully.
• Grow net core brand distribution over baseline throughout the year.
• Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate department staff.
