Job summary

Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) seeks a Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor for the Regional Services branch in Middletown. Lead regional clinical operations, supervise staff, and coordinate services with DMHAS-contracted providers to ensure quality care.

The role requires travel within the region for monitoring visits and community events, adherence to state policies, and collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Four years of professional experience in behavioral health care and a Master’s degree in a clinical discipline, public health administration, health care administration or hospital administration.
• Two years of the General Experience must have been supervising professional staff.
• Licensure in clinical social work, marriage and family therapy, professional counselor, registered nurse, psychologist or alcohol and drug counselor as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Direct staff and operations of a clinical program or service within a geographic region.
• Coordinate, plan and manage program activities and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with standards and monitor performance across the region.
• Represent the department at community events and with providers and stakeholders.
