The State of Connecticut, Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) seeks a Mental Health Center Director to lead day-to-day clinical and facility operations across three WCMHN sites in Danbury, Torrington, and Waterbury. On-call evenings and weekends provide clinical consultation and staffing guidance.

You will oversee clinical programs, supervise site directors, manage safety operations, and coordinate governance through agency committees while traveling as required to support

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a health related field.
• At least five years of managerial experience in hospital, health or mental health administration.
• Experience managing behavioral health clinical operations, including risk management.
• Experience managing facility operations in an outpatient behavioral health care setting.
• Experience with Joint Commission standards of behavioral health care (clinical and safety/environment of care).
• Experience organizing, analyzing, and interpreting clinical outcomes data.
• Incumbents may be required to travel.

• Directs, plans and coordinates delivery of services to individuals.
• Directs and participates in planning and development of clinical programs to meet needs of individuals served by the agency.
• Directs monitoring and evaluation of clinical programs to ensure quality of care.
• Directs preparation of facility budget and oversees administrative services.
• Leads recruitment and hiring of staff; travels as needed.
