Job summary

Matrix Service Company is seeking a Manager, Business Development to drive sales of storage products and services in designated regions, building and maintaining customer relationships with Midstream, Power, and EPC clients. This role emphasizes strategic account management, proposals, and contracts.

The position focuses on growth across Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, and Northeast regions, requiring strong technical knowledge of the tank and midstream markets and solid commercial contracting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business/related field.
• 5+ years’ sales, marketing, or business development experience in industrial construction preferred.
• Advanced interpersonal, oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical information, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Vision.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports safety and core values of the company.
• Travel frequently to solicit inquiries from customers and follow up on projects; travel up to 70%.
• Use and maintain CRM for account and opportunity management.
• Identify, develop, and maintain customer accounts to meet revenue goals.
• Lead proposal development, capture strategy, and contract negotiations with cross-functional teams.
• Establish product/service changes based on industry needs; understand competitors.
