Job summary

SMC in Massachusetts is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to represent SMC in new and existing distributor accounts and to grow market share in Southern Massachusetts & Rhode Island. The role involves building new business and strong relationships with key customers.

The position requires proactive management of OEM accounts, regular travel within the region, and collaboration with internal teams to deploy automation solutions that meet customer goals.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to grow OEM accounts.
• Strong relationship management with senior decision makers.
• Experience leading full sales cycle and CRM usage.

Responsibilities

• Retains and profitably grows sales through proactive management of medium to large OEM accounts.
• Meet or exceed annual growth expectations on a consistent basis.
• Present SMC capabilities, services and products to current and prospective customers.
• Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers and manage relationships.
• Lead all aspects of the sales process and collaborate with internal teams for tailored solutions.
• Develop and execute customer action plans and forecasts.
