Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Regional Automation Engineer Manager to lead onsite and regional automation engineers across fulfillment centers, driving reliability and operational excellence. You will mentor junior engineers, oversee PLC/PC controllers, SCADA systems, and performance metrics to minimize downtime and optimize material handling.

You’ll work with conveyors, sortation, scanners, cameras, print and apply systems, and SCADA programs, traveling up to 80% to support multiple sites and build team

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industrial controls and automation experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Automation Engineering, or 7+ years of PLC programming or automation engineering experience

Responsibilities

• Apply SME to troubleshoot engineering issues across a regional region.
• Program and source coding for in-house PLC/PC controllers and SCADA platforms.
• Lead a team of automation engineers in maintaining and troubleshooting control systems.
