Job summary

You will open doors, develop customer relationships, and generate opportunities while partnering with engineering and leadership to support technical discussions and solution development.

This role requires regular customer visits and regional travel, with approximately 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial sales or automation industries.
• Hunter mentality with proven prospecting and opportunity creation.
• Experience working with manufacturing, engineering, operations or plant stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using CRM to manage activity and pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within manufacturing and industrial markets.
• Conduct outbound prospecting through phone calls, email, networking, referrals, and other BD activities.
• Build relationships with engineering, operations, manufacturing, maintenance and purchasing stakeholders.
• Schedule and lead customer discovery meetings and capabilities presentations.
• Develop and maintain a qualified pipeline of opportunities.
