Job summary

Krause Auto Group is seeking a motivated Regional IT Field Technician to support multiple dealership locations across the Carolinas. You will provide hands-on desktop, network, and endpoint assistance, troubleshoot devices, and work closely with users to resolve issues.

This field-based role combines onsite and remote work, with travel between sites and occasional overnight stays. You will document work, assist with onboarding, and coordinate with the IT team to uphold security standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support or desktop support, preferably in field services.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365.
• Ability to troubleshoot PCs, printers, network connectivity, and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote technical support for dealership employees.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, phones, and network connectivity.
• Install, configure, maintain, and replace computers and hardware.
• Assist with Microsoft 365, Windows accounts, email, applications, and endpoint management.
• Support onboarding/offboarding and equipment deployment.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage IT projects.
• Document systems, inventory, and completed work.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when needed.
• Ensure security standards are followed across locations.
• Build relationships with management and staff, delivering responsive service.
