Job summary

Krause Auto Group is seeking a motivated Regional IT Field Technician to support multiple dealership locations across North and South Carolina. This field-based role combines onsite and remote work with regular travel between sites.

The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting, ownership of issues, and working independently within a larger IT team. Strong Windows and Microsoft 365 experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior IT support or field service experience.
• Strong Windows and business applications skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and cloud environments.
• Valid driver's license and travel between dealerships.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote technical support for dealership employees.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, phones, network connectivity, Wi-Fi.
• Install and maintain computers and related hardware.
• Assist with Microsoft 365, Windows, user accounts, email, and endpoint management.
• Support onboarding and offboarding, including device setup and access.
• Assist with network equipment, switches, and wireless access points.
• Support IP phones and dealership communication systems.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and technology providers.
• Assist with technology upgrades and acquisitions at new locations.
• Maintain documentation of systems, equipment, inventory, configurations, and work performed.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate IT team members.
