Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive new business in a defined territory and manage underwriting and credit analysis. You will work with Floorplan Directors and Territory Managers to secure contracts, activations, and revenue growth.

The role requires a track record in auto or financial services, strong English communication, and proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce. Expect heavy travel and a data-driven sales approach in this Washington, DC area.

Qualifications

• 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance required.
• 3 year(s) Prior work experience in Auto or Financial service industry.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Working knowledge in various inventory finance software programs.
• Experience in using a CRM software (preferably Salesforce) to maintain and plan sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Develop and execute an aggressive sales plan within a defined market
• Build prospect list through effective cold calling, lead follow-up and referrals.
• Ensure continued followup during on-boarding. Service accounts in person and via phone, resolving customer issues and looking for incremental growth opportunities.
• Utilize Salesforce on a daily basis for reporting and tracking purposes
• Hit target levels in new applications, signed contracts as well as line activations and utilization ratios.
• Responsible for initial underwriting of potential customers.
• Develop a strong relationship with ACV Auctions’ Regional Managers, Territory Managers and Vehicle Condition Inspectors.
