Location: Houston, TX

OVERVIEW

As an Assistant Regional Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of IKE kiosks in your assigned cities. Your duties include quarterly preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair or replacement of defective components such as power supplies, displays, and touchscreens. Electrical work experience is required. You will work with computers and specific software related to the area. Additionally, you will oversee and support daily maintenance staff across multiple regions as a supervisory lead. The role may also involve cleaning and maintaining IKE Smart City kiosks, manual labor, lifting over 75 lbs., driving, and standing/walking for extended periods.

This fast-paced, ever-changing environment requires the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Flexibility, a collaborative attitude, enthusiasm, creative thinking, initiative, and problem-solving skills are essential.

IKE is an interactive kiosk platform connecting cities with residents through vivid, life-sized touchscreen displays. The kiosks provide applications for exploring city offerings, sharing feedback, and staying informed about local events, serving thousands of pedestrians daily.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Visit designated geographical areas on a schedule coordinated with your supervisor.
• Possess mandatory electronics knowledge.
• Analyze incoming data from various sources.
• Perform component swaps, including doors and monitors.
• Coordinate with employees and contractors to complete tasks.
• Provide backup support to local maintenance technicians as needed.
• Conduct functional tests following established protocols and report results.
• Report issues to management, assist with corrective actions, create and manage support/repair tickets, and oversee spare parts inventory.

• Perform repairs and routine maintenance such as paint touch-ups, labeling, component replacements, light electrical work, and computer networking.
• Manage the health and operation of IKE kiosks across multiple markets in the region.
• Support troubleshooting and repairs for regional IKE networks and daily operations.
• Travel within Texas regional markets for repairs and quarterly maintenance as required.
• Be on-site and hands-on to support Texas markets.
• Learn to operate different software programs related to the role.

ABOUT YOU

• A 2- or 4-year degree is a plus but not required.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in a related field; preferred experience includes large-scale or high-volume city deployments of smart city, telecom, or similar technology infrastructure.
• Experience managing technicians and reviewing construction documents.
• Ability to travel throughout regional markets as needed.
