Job summary

Sephora is seeking a Regional Asset Protection Director to lead and maximize shrink reduction across the region, guiding investigations, staffing, and safety initiatives. You will partner with field leadership to improve sales, profit and customer experience while protecting assets.

Your role includes overseeing investigations, budget management, and strategic program development across Organized Retail Crime, Safety, and AP Training/Policy.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Asset Protection experience within multi-unit retail environments.
• Understanding of criminal and civil law as it applies to the retail environment.
• Proven ability to manage time to execute multiple tasks and changing priorities.
• Wicklander-Zulawski, Reid, or similar certification.
• Excellent verbal/written communications skills and ability to influence partners at all levels.
• Proven ability to build teams and develop leaders for shrink reduction and safety.
• Proficiency with Asset Protection applications, MS Office and CCTV; travel about 70%.

Responsibilities

• Direct accountability for shrink reduction, investigations, and safe business practices.
• Build partnerships with field teams to improve sales, profit and client experience while protecting assets.
• Identify market opportunities and develop DAPM strategies to reduce shrink.
• Guide investigations using reporting, camera tech, interviewing, and law enforcement resources.
• Recommend physical security measures to senior leadership for current/future stores.
• Conduct store visits with DAPMs and cross-functional partners to reduce liability.
• Manage AP staffing budgets, guards, travel, meetings, and security expenses.
• Mentor DAPMs with development plans; foster diverse, inclusive teams.
• Develop talent strategies, succession plans, and regional growth alignment.
