Job summary

Long John Silver’s is seeking an Area Supervisor (District Manager) to lead and oversee 4–6 company-owned restaurants. You will partner with the Director of Operations to develop regional strategies and help RGMs exceed the annual operating plan.

You will coach RGMs and management teams, ensure food safety, drive sales and guest satisfaction, and manage budgets while complying with labor standards. This full-time exempt role requires up to 70% travel and will report to the Director of Operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5–7 years’ experience as an Area Supervisor in Quick Service or Fast Casual Restaurants.
• Serv-Safe certification required; must be able/willing to obtain if not already certified.
• Relationship management and strong people leadership required.
• Proven ability to drive results through coaching and brand standards.
• Strong verbal and written communications required.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel up to 70%.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall Operations leadership and accountability for approx. 4–6 company-owned Long John Silver’s restaurants.
• Coach and direct RGMs, Assistant Managers, and shifts on a day-to-day basis.
• Maintain company standards in food safety, product, and facility specs.
• Improve sales and customer satisfaction by setting restaurant-specific targets.
• Schedule and lead bench planning calls to identify gaps and promotions.
• Develop and retain RGMs and team members; model strong people leadership.
• Ensure compliance with Department of Labor standards and proper HRIS records.
• Communicate changes broadly to all stakeholders.
