Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in the United States is seeking an Area Sales Director to support direct store delivery and independent distributors, building strong relationships with key accounts and driving in‑market promotions.

The role collaborates with a Market Vice President and the Sales Enablement team to analyze opportunities, adjust strategies, and use digital tools to capture growth and demonstrate sales execution.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience in general management or sales.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably Sales or Business Administration) or equivalent experience
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT Medical Card
• Valid Driver's License and Safe Driving Record
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Responsibilities

• Supports DSD (direct store delivery) sales and IDs (Independent Distributors).
• Builds and maintains solid customer relationships with key accounts.
• Tracks sales data and identifies new selling opportunities in the market.
• Uses digital tools to show execution wins and opportunities for growth.
• Works with Market VP and Sales Enablement to analyze market opportunities and maximize sales.
