Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Area Sales Director to lead direct store delivery sales and distributor partnerships, manage key account relationships, and drive sales growth through data-driven strategies.

You will collaborate with the Market VP and Sales Enablement to leverage market insights and optimize territory performance while advancing display execution and promotional activities.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience in general management or sales.
• Bachelor's degree (preferably Sales or Business Administration) or equivalent experience
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT Medical Card
• Valid Driver's License and Safe Driving Record
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Responsibilities

• Area Sales Director is responsible for supporting DSD (direct store delivery) sales and IDs (Independent Distributors). You will support IDs' efforts to manage customer relationships, engage in sales activities, grow their customer base, seek new selling opportunities in the market, and track sales data.
• You will build and maintain solid customer relationships with key accounts, that will help ensure promotion and display execution in the market.
• Utilizing digital tools, you will be able to show execution wins and opportunities for continued growth.
• The Area Sales Director will work with a Market Vice President and the Sales Enablement team to analyze market and territory opportunities to maximize sales, while using consumer insights to adjust sales strategies.
