Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in Dayton, OH is seeking an Area Sales Director to lead Direct Store Delivery (DSD) sales and Independent Distributors (IDs). You will manage customer relationships, expand the customer base, seek new selling opportunities, and track sales data to guide strategy and growth.

Collaborating with the Market VP and Sales Enablement, you will analyze market opportunities and apply consumer insights to optimize sales strategies and promotions within our bakery brands.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience in general management or sales.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably Sales or Business Administration) or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Support DSD (direct store delivery) sales and IDs (Independent Distributors).
• Build and maintain solid customer relationships with key accounts to promote and display execution.
• Grow the customer base and seek new selling opportunities in the market.
• Track sales data and use digital tools to show execution wins and growth opportunities.
