Job summary

Flowers Bakeries has an immediate opening for an Area Sales Director to support DSD sales and Independent Distributors. You will build strong relationships with key accounts to promote display execution and drive growth across the market.

Collaborating with a Market Vice President and Sales Enablement, you will analyze market opportunities, leverage consumer insights, and adjust sales strategies to maximize performance.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in general management or sales
• Bachelor's degree (preferably Sales or Business Administration) or equivalent experience
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT Medical Card
• Valid Driver's License and Safe Driving Record
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Responsibilities

• Support DSD (direct store delivery) sales and ID (Independent Distributors) efforts
• Build and maintain solid customer relationships with key accounts to ensure promotion and display execution
• Utilize digital tools to show execution wins and opportunities for growth
• Analyze market and territory opportunities with the Market VP and Sales Enablement to maximize sales
