Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Retail Operations, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in retail management, with at least 4 years in Area/Regional management.
• Proven track record in managing multiple store locations and improving P&L.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
• Excellent understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and financial management.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the Free State.
• Residency or strong ties to Welkom preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage operations of a designated group of stores in the Welkom/Free State area.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to maximize profitability and market share.
• Monitor financial performance, manage P&L, and control costs for each store.
• Lead and develop a team of store managers with clear coaching.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, standards and brand guidelines.
• Drive initiatives to enhance customer experience and satisfaction.
• Manage inventory levels, supply chain efficiency, and loss prevention.
• Conduct regular store visits and evaluate performance.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify advantages.
