Job summary

Right At School is seeking a Senior Area Manager to lead multiple in-school enrichment and childcare programs. You will oversee Area Managers, drive program quality and profitability, and align operations with licensing requirements across markets.

You will partner with districts and the central team to ensure high standards, effective communication, and strong customer satisfaction while empowering your team to achieve excellence in their markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional work experience in childcare, retail or related industry.
• 2+ years of experience managing multi-unit business.
• At least 2 years of direct P&L experience.
• Knowledge of child care licensing regulations preferred.
• Ability to travel as needed to visit field programs within local markets as well as markets of Area Manager direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of 1-3 Area Managers to ensure program implementation, quality and safety.
• Provide direct support to program staff to execute all aspects of programming.
• Maintain compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements.
