Job summary

The Children's Place in Secaucus, New Jersey, seeks an Area Leader to oversee a portfolio of stores, driving sales growth, profitability, and exceptional customer experience. You will coach Store Leaders, translate the company vision into actionable plans, and partner with senior leadership to scale best practices.

You will champion operational excellence across districts, manage expenses, and develop future leaders while maintaining high service standards and engaging teams in a winning culture.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of retail management experience, leading a store or a number of stores.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L.
• Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills.
• Ability to analyze business results and make data-driven decisions.
• Exceptional leadership, coaching, and talent development skills.
• Flexibility to work a schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to travel which will include overnight stays.
• Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Financial Accountability: Own accountability for area sales, profit, and operational targets.
• Customer Experience & Service Standards: Ensure stores deliver consistent, world-class customer experiences.
• Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, lead, develop and manage a team of Store Leaders/Managers.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure flawless execution of standards across the district.
• Performance Metrics: Drive area sales growth and store performance consistency.
