Job summary

The Children's Place is seeking an Area Leader to oversee a portfolio of stores and drive sales growth, profitability, and customer experience. You will coach Store Leaders, execute the company vision, and develop future leaders across the market.

You will lead performance metrics, ensure operational excellence, and build a high-performance culture with strong emphasis on service standards and loyalty initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of retail management experience leading a store or multiple stores.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L.
• Outstanding leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
• Flexibility to work a schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to travel within market and overnight stays.
• Driver's License required
• Must reside within or near the assigned market for coverage and travel.

Responsibilities

• Own accountability for area sales, profit, and operational targets.
• Analyze store performance and market trends to identify growth opportunities and risks.
• Partner with Store Manager to drive comp sales, conversion, and margins.
• Manage controllable expenses (payroll, supplies, shrink) while maintaining service levels.
• Lead and develop a team of Store Leaders/Managers, building a culture of accountability.
