Job summary

Fronius USA is seeking a Technical Support Regional - Application Engineer to support the sales process by applying advanced Fronius welding equipment knowledge at customer sites and installations. The role requires travel to client locations, installation sites, and meetings across the USA and Europe.

You will demonstrate product value, provide technical guidance, conduct tests, support integrations, and lead training events for colleagues and partners.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of experience in the field and/or Associates Degree in an appropriate area of specialty
• Preferred Welding Engineering Technology B.S.
• Knowledge of Spanish and/or German is a plus
• Strong knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point

Responsibilities

• Supports the Sales process in designing system installation parameters for Fronius products
• Organizes and executes product tests at customer locations
• Evaluates client needs for upgrades or upsells
• Provides technical guidance and support at client sites
• Performs welding system and software installations and integrations at client locations
• Conducts training events for colleagues, distributors, and end clients
• Leads feasibility studies and provides feedback to the national team
