Job summary

MAA is seeking an Area Service Technician to travel between select properties in the Hendersonville/Greater Nashville area, performing general maintenance and repairs on apartment units and facilities. You’ll work with on-site teams under supervision of the property manager and service manager, diagnosing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry issues.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years HVAC and general facility maintenance experience.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification required.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.
• CAMT preferred in Florida only.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and building systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on appliances and fixtures.
• Assist with maintenance requests, painting, and unit readiness.
• Ensure safety standards and coordinate between properties and vendors.
