Job summary

MAA Bellevue in Nashville, TN is hiring an Apartment Maintenance Technician to keep apartment homes and facilities in excellent condition. You’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks while delivering reliable service to residents.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of multifamily maintenance experience, HVAC knowledge, and EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in multifamily property management, facility maintenance, and/or mechanical repair.
• HVAC experience required.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification required at hire or within 90 days of start date.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair to keep apartment homes and facilities in good working order.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units, electrical appliances, outlets, light fixtures, plumbing, carpentry, and locks.
• Follow a planned preventative maintenance schedule and update residents after repairs are complete.
