Job summary

Ameriprise Financial is seeking a Regional Sales Director, Annuities, to drive annuity sales growth and deepen advisor engagement across a designated territory. You will influence outcomes through consultative sales strategies, relationship management, and deep product expertise.

Partner with the Regional Vice President to create territory business plans, manage advisor engagement strategies, and achieve regional sales objectives.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in financial services or sales.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Active Series 6 or Series 7 license required.
• Active Series 63 or Series 66 registration required or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Life and Health insurance licenses required.

Responsibilities

• Drive annuity sales growth by developing, maintaining, and expanding relationships with financial advisors.
• Partner with the Regional Vice President to create territory plans, manage advisor engagement strategies, and achieve regional sales objectives.
• Conduct outbound sales calls, convert inquiries into opportunities, and participate in advisor meetings and presentations.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal/external partners to support growth.
• Demonstrate expertise in RiverSource annuity products and position solutions for advisor and client needs.
• Leverage CRM tools, BI, and reports to identify opportunities and improve territory performance.
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive developments, communicating insights to advisors.
• Manage workload priorities and travel as needed for territory activities and events.
