Job summary

RiverSource is seeking a Regional Sales Director, Annuities, to drive annuity sales growth and deepen advisor engagement across a designated territory. You will collaborate with the Regional VP to develop territory plans, manage advisor programs, and present solutions from the RiverSource annuity portfolio.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in financial services sales, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting sales goals.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of financial services sales experience or similar
• Active Series 6 or Series 7 license
• Active Series 63 or Series 66 or ability to obtain within 90 days
• Life and Health insurance licenses are required

Responsibilities

• Drive annuity sales growth by developing and expanding relationships with financial advisors
• Collaborate with Regional VP to create territory business plans and advisor engagement strategies
• Conduct outbound calls, convert inquiries, and participate in meetings and presentations
• Maintain productive relationships with internal and external partners to support growth
• Demonstrate expertise in RiverSource annuity products and tailor solutions for advisors and clients
• Use CRM, BI, and reports to identify opportunities and monitor territory performance
• Manage workload, ensure compliance, and travel as needed to support activities and events
