Job summary

Lee Health in Florida seeks a regional leader to oversee Anatomical Pathology services—histology, cytology, and pathology support—across multiple facilities, coordinating staff and resources to ensure high-quality, compliant operations.

You will partner with the System Director and Medical Director to standardize policies, drive performance improvement, and align service delivery with patient safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Histotechnology, Biological Sciences, or a related field is required.
• Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of five years of progressive laboratory leadership experience, including supervisory or management roles.
• ASCP certification: HT, HTL, CT, or PA required; Immunohistochemistry (QIHC) qualification required.
• Florida license: current State DOH supervisory license appropriate to discipline required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for regional leadership, coordination, and operational management of Anatomical Pathology services across Lee Health facilities.
• Develop and implement standardized policies, procedures, workflows, quality initiatives, and strategic objectives.
• Lead regional performance improvement, workforce planning, service integration, and operational standardization.
• Collaborate with hospital, surgical, medical, and administrative leaders as a regional representative of Anatomical Pathology.
