Job summary

Christiana Care Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Nursing Services to provide leadership and oversight for nursing practice across the Medical Group Primary Care sites in Region Three.

The role requires travel to all eight locations and entails developing policies, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring regulatory readiness. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with responsibilities including onboarding, education, and recruitment of nursing resources.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with BSN; MSN preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Delaware or eligibility through Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• Three to five years of clinical nursing experience in ambulatory practice, medical-surgical, emergency department or critical care experience.
• Proven leadership skills and behaviors.
• Prior experience in educating and supervising clinical staff or other informal leadership role.
• BLS required

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical leadership and operational oversight for nursing practice and care delivery across ChristianaCare Medical Group Primary Care practices.
• Oversees RN, LPN, and Medical Assistant clinical practice and competencies to promote safe, high-quality care.
• Assesses practice needs, supports orientation and onboarding, identifies educational opportunities, and conducts routine rounds across Primary Care locations.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates nursing policies, procedures, and workflows.
• Leads risk management, infection prevention, patient safety, and regulatory readiness initiatives.
• Supports system-wide clinical initiatives and quality improvement projects.
• Collaborates with Clinical Directors and interdisciplinary teams to promote communication and collaboration across practices.
• Manages workforce activities including recruitment, onboarding, coaching, licensure and credentialing.
• Fosters accountability, professionalism, safety and patient-centered care; encourages staff engagement and growth.
• Maintains regular communication with clinical teams and participates in staff meetings.
